Canon 85 1.2L II - Sample Photos (on Canon 1DX)

Another nice piece of glass from Canon, my second favourite lens (behind Canon 70-200/2.8 L II IS). I have this lens from February 2016.

Pros:

- sharp from 1.2, razor sharp from 2.0;

- great bokeh and colors;

Cons:

- high level of chromatic aberrations at 1.2-1.4;

- slow AF, sometimes innacurate (but works fine on 1DX);

- build quality (not perfectly sealed)

Canon 70-200/2.8 IS II - Photos (Canon 1DX)

What I can say about this lens...it's great tool in my work and it's worth every single penny. I have few lenses: wide-angle, macro, for portraits and longer telephoto, but this is my favourite.
There's many reviews of this lens and my english is not good enough, so I will show you some shots which I took with this lens and Canon 1DX.

Pros - razor sharp photos (even at 200/2.8), versatile, quick af, weather sealed.
No cons for me (maybe a white color).

Tamron 24-70/2.8 VC - Photos (Canon 1DX)

Lens works fine, there are no problems with autofocus (bf & ff), picture quality is very good and VC works great (it's silent and this is very important when you're recording videos).

UPDATE (after 6 months)
Lens is in good condition, but it has dust inside. In the meantime I bought Canon 70-200/2.8 IS II, so now better option for me is 16-35/4 IS.

Pros:

- very good image quality from 4.0-11 (at 2.8 very good on 24 mm)

- VC is silent and effective (3 EV);

- price
- af works fine

Cons:

- high vignetting;

- distortion at 24 mm;

- AF is slow in low-light conditions (but it's still ok)
- flares & glare
- no weather sealed
